Treatment Modalities
My approach to therapy is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating several evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s individual needs. Each approach offers unique tools to help you gain insight, process emotions, and move toward lasting change.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems is a trauma-informed treatment modality that supports and encourages deep understanding, connection, and unburdening of various facets or parts of our personalities that we all obtain. IFS seeks to establish functioning in your life from a place of compassion and balance, as well as an awareness that one can heal their own internal system conflicts. I will often combine EMDR and IFS when appropriate.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
An evidence-based, trauma-informed approach that helps you process distressing memories and experiences interfering with current functioning. EMDR integrates cognitive, emotional, and somatic awareness to support deep healing and resilience.
